Daily Solitaire
One shared Klondike deal. A new day, a new table.
Free · progress saves on this device.
Use the stock pile to draw cards. Select a face-up card and then a target pile to move it. In the tableau, cards build down in alternating colors. Foundations build up from Ace to King. Keyboard shortcuts: U undo, H hint, N new game, R restart.
How Daily Solitaire Works
Daily Solitaire uses the classic Klondike Turn 1 rules: seven tableau columns, four foundations, and a stock that reveals one card at a time. The difference is the seed. Instead of a random deal, the page derives today’s board from the UTC date.
Everyone who opens the page on the same UTC day receives the same shuffle. That makes the daily page useful for comparing routes, sharing a result, or playing the same challenge as a friend without sending a board setup.
The daily deal changes at 00:00 UTC. If the page is open across the boundary, it detects the new date and starts the new daily deal. Your normal Klondike save remains untouched.
Daily Progress and Replay
Daily progress is stored separately from the main Klondike game. New Game and Restart on this page replay the same daily board rather than generating a random one. You can close the tab and return later on the same device to continue.
The score, moves and time follow the same Klondike Turn 1 rules as the main game. Use Undo and Hint as usual; the daily constraint is the shared seed, not a different rule set.
Daily Strategy
Because the daily board is shared, you can compare decisions with other players. Reveal face-down cards early, keep an empty column available for a King, and avoid sending a card to a foundation when the tableau still needs it. A slow, deliberate start usually beats a fast opening that hides the board’s structure.
Daily timing and fairness
The daily page uses UTC rather than the visitor’s local timezone. That keeps the deal consistent for everyone, even when players are in different countries. The trade-off is that the new deal arrives at a different local hour depending on where you live.
If you finish the daily deal, the result is stored for that UTC date. Starting a new game on the same day returns to the same board, so you can replay the route or try a different first move. The next UTC date creates a new save and a new seed.
Daily Solitaire FAQ
What is Daily Solitaire?
Daily Solitaire is a fresh Klondike Turn 1 deal for each UTC calendar day. Everyone who opens the page on the same day gets the same board.
When does the daily deal change?
The deal changes at 00:00 UTC. Reload the page after the change, or leave it open and the game will switch when it detects the next UTC day.
Is daily progress separate from normal Solitaire?
Yes. Daily progress and normal Klondike progress use separate local saves, so one does not overwrite the other.
Can I replay today’s daily deal?
Yes. New Game and Restart on this page reset the same day’s deal; they do not generate a random board.
Do I need an account for Daily Solitaire?
No. The deal and your progress are handled in the browser. No account, download or purchase is required.
